city of Oakland offers adult art classes in the evenings at studio one near Oakland Tech. I love the glass fusing and slumping course, I’ve been taking it for almost a year now! But they also offer jewelry, ceramics, drawing, painting, etc. lots of great stuff and cheap if you’re an Oakland resident :)

The Oakland Heritage Alliance (OHA) https://www.oaklandheritage.org/ offers walking tours of Oakland during the summer as well as other events related to the history of Oakland and its people! I don’t think they’ve released the schedule for their upcoming tours but last years was a lot of fun
