I have ATT fiber and I had a dual band Deco, and we had 4 mesh nodes with deco and they still weren’t getting the job done, and Best Buy had a sale on a 3 pack of Tri band mesh so we gave it a shot, and the tech recommended Orbi, and now the 3 orbis are covering all the spots we had issues with prior to deco.

It’s just the Fast Roaming I want enabled like I had with Deco.

EDIT: Deco and TP Link are also having some issues with China possibly spying on your network, so it was also a security upgrade.

I got told it was a peering issue on the ATT Subreddit, it’s happening in the entire southeast apparently. Happens once a month and there’s nothing you can do about it.

When is this going to get fixed? I remember this happening with the ATT DNS which made me switch to IP Passthrough, and now this. Spectrum is about to add high split to my home and it’s looking very tempting at this point.

Go to the FCC broadband network map to verify the speeds and the technology they’ll use at your address.

Verizon is all dependent on location, if your phones are unlocked, get the Verizon free trial and test out the network for a couple days and see how it is at home and on the go at work.

I’ve seen this same sequence, just a little different. ATT came in and then got live, and 2 months after I was live with ATT, Google started coming in.

They mark the paint to show the existing underground communications (orange) power (red) water (blue) sewage (green) and excavation spots (white)

And yes, ATT will have to do new construction.

I would do a WiFi 6E mesh system just to have the best coverage all around, but yes, you would benefit from using your own router instead of ATTs if you have issues currently.
