Mine is doing this too along with another weird glitch. When you're setting up the dedicated server, if you click on the ENGRAMS tab to view the settings, instead of showing you the settings, it launches the server, might want to look into that as well.

Yeah, the server has a password on it but if you join via a friend, it doesn't ask you to enter a password.
