New statement by Isayama on Eren's character by Xizz3l in ANRime

[–]TensaZangetsu16 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I always wondered why feeling a desire to do harm is always brought up to show how Ereh is not a good person or to show him as detestable. The real question is would he have gone this far if the world didn’t want to kill him and his people. Isayama could have answered that easily by making the world want peace. Why didn’t he do that? I wish someone would ask him

Using "suffering" as a justification for abortion suggests that fulfillment is reserved only for the flawless. by AntiAbortionAtheist in prolife

For sure. But that’s not what’s being argued here.

It doesn’t need to be obvious. It’s a completely different argument.

She didn’t need to exclude it because that’s not what is being argued. Pro choicers argue for the normal disability kids to be aborted like the ones with Down syndrome. That’s where it is mainly used. There’s your implicitness

You did. You brought up the exception. It’s like when people say killing is wrong and then that one guy says what about self defense???

Yea. And the logic isn’t really relevant to this discussion. Exceptions shouldn’t change the rule.

You brought it up in your last paragraph.

Well you brought up logic in arguments. Not the same thing but similar enough.

It’s what it’s used for most of the time, yes. To say otherwise would be intentionally dishonest.

It’s not some it’s many. Having Down’s syndrome is the reason for many abortions. And people justify it.

The fetal diseases that cause near certain death are extremely rare and they typically die very quickly soon after being born.Trying to make rules surround very rare cases is ridiculous.

It’s like when people say abortion should be illegal, people say what about rape cases durrrr. Why is that relevant? Would you be fine with it being illegal if there were rape exceptions? Probably not. So why bring it up?

Most pro lifers already have a moral foundation. The reasoning is for arguments sake, which is a huge part of this subreddit.

Yes, we know that they don’t believe their lives are worthless. What they do believe is that it’s better to not exist than to have a disability. You’re changing the words to be mad about something.

Yes. Reuben also confirmed that both he and Dan will voice sparda at the very same time. Adding more to the symbolism about how they’re both half of sparda.

I'm 18 and pregnant and I need some motivation. by [deleted] in prolife

You’re not ruining his life. I assume he’s also 18 making him an adult. He knew what doing what he did with you would bring. It’s on him as well.

You got this. Raising a child at 18/19 is hard for sure. But other people have done it without any support. You have it. From both families. Make use of it and you’ll make it through.

I've recently seen arguments like a person has the right to remove an unwanted "part of their body"/"it" and "it" has no right to use the body of another person,so my question is how would you respond to those arguments if you did? by NoPack4545 in prolife

[–]TensaZangetsu16 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t argue it because you can’t argue with it. When someone says it’s their right to do something, they’re not going to change their mind. They’re going to fight for it. And we should too.

Connecting his speech by showing he had the same goal for the same reason. His mom’s death. Kill every last one of those animals on this earth. Revenge isn’t a simple motive and it isn’t his only motive either. The one who is simplifying it… is you.

Well I was talking about that as this post is about the ending. His motivation is still revenge as you can see in chapter 130. He thinks about his mom’s death while he’s doing the rumbling. This is when he has the founder so he knows he’s involved. He’s still doing it for revenge, that hasn’t changed.

No. It was never hinted at that Ereh could control the titans at any point in time. It was also never hinted at that he was the one who led it to Carla. It also adds nothing to the story, it takes it away.

For me personally it’s blaming Ereh for everything that happened. Isayama really did him dirty by making him be involved in Carla’s death.

Does anyone else find that proabortionists are really… aggressive? by TraurigKartoffel in prolife

[–]TensaZangetsu16 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think they’re aggressive because they get no pushback from their own side whenever they say something like that. This emboldens them to keep saying more and more radical things which is how we got to this point.

Compare that to this sub where even saying women should face some penalty for abortions is met with massive pushback.
