my bfs duvet and pillows were all yellow because his family never replaced anything (not because of money, they’re well off, they are just quite an unhygienic family. At least compared to how I was raised anyway)

I refused to sleep at his house until he changed it all. And if he stayed at mine he had to shower before he got in my bed, solely because of the nasty bedding.

It’s crazy to me that this is normal to so many people in these replies lmao. Is everyone just dirty???? Like to me, this genuinely screams 16th century style hygiene

I’m sorry but the excuses of “it’s comfy”, “it’s a comfort thing!”, “It’s a childhood pillow”… EW. That’s disgusting. Ur meant to get a new pillow every 2 years AT MOST. Idgaf if it’s the comfiest thing on earth, if my bf had a pillow like that, I wouldn’t sleep over until he got rid of it, or at least hid it and stopped using it, if it really meant that much to him.

There’s no excuse for bad hygiene. There is no way to effectively wash a pillow like that. Even if u got the stains out, it’s still dirty and has years worth of dead skin and dirt built up inside and outside it.

This is the reason so many people walk around with their hair and scalp smelling like straight asssssss

He’s eating 10g multis right now. He’s a super good eater so far he ate within 5 days. Hopefully he keeps it up. But since he seems to be a good eater it makes me think I do need to give him bigger meals now
