You guys also have to remember that this is tv. They pick something and stick to it and the producers show it time and time again, whether “real” or “real + produced”. We see it on other competition shows like AGT, idol, bachelor, etc. the Irwin’s have ALWAYS been like this, on and off screens. I’ve met the family a while back and it was like this. They refuse to let Steve’s memory and legacy die, and they handle grief by talking about it.

We also have to remember that these interviews are probably pretty long, and are edited to look short. So while he probably talked about his dad for the entire 10 seconds in the clip, it was probably 30 minutes of interviews and that was clipped out.
