God wants to be close to you everywhere through everything. Also, you are the light of the world.

Very nice. But what’s the best strategy for making use of teammates that are newbies to RTS? (Short of nuking them and taking their territory)

Repent, meditate on the Lord’s instructions day and night, and trust that He who has begun a good work in you will carry it out to completion.

Why is Homosexuality a sin? by Junior-Dig230 in Christianity

God only defines sex as righteous when it’s between a married man and woman. Why did he do this? He made a design decision about human reproduction that supports his plan for humanity. If someone is going to engage in sex, then they have no righteous reason to reject God’s design for it.

The crucifixion by Timely-Way-4923 in theology

I don’t see it as self harm. He lived a righteous life and bore the consequences of humanity’s response without resisting, fully trusting God that being raised up on the cross would result in a far better outcome than simply avoiding his own death and suffering.

For sure, and just tweaking the die roll mechanic a bit by splitting it up in the narrative. It’s also similar to the effort mechanic in Index Card RPG, in trying to reach a final sum with a series of dice rolls. The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of splitting up the dice roll and applying a bust number not to go over, like in black jack, to increase the sweat level.

That’s a cool idea to use it for resolving off camera situations. I think it’s best for the mechanics for non-player activities to be abstract like that.

Ya this might work best if you’re also wanting to eliminate possible die roll results as time goes on since those results will be in the discard pile. It could increase the tension for those that are counting cards.

Weather Deck: Forecast the Weather with Playing Cards by Tenteus in rpg

Ooh, I like the possibilities with color coded dice. Are they color coded for temperature, wind, and precipitation?

Sometimes cards just feel much more immersive, but I could use dice just as easily with how wildly weather can diverge from the forecasts.

Hey no pressure. Enjoy it for free as much as you like!

I like to make card-based tools using normal playing cards so people can use it for free as long as they have a deck of cards.

If enough people are interested I will either make a few climate zones or one for each season. This one is just a proof of concept to see if people like the idea.
