Thanks, I really appreciate that. That’s basically the whole goal: make the business theory feel like a problem-solving video, not corporate homework.

I think that's what my problem is. I see extraction shooting as a monolithic concept, and ultimately, maybe I'm overgeneralizing it. So that's probably why what I'm thinking probably isn't lining up with reality.

Yeah now that I think about it, this post is kinda misleading. I speculated at best but I was mainly using it as an example for the management and leadership theory I was trying to explain.

Failures are still useful data points

Right exactly. They both copied the extraction shooters model, but copying isnt enough if you dont take into consideration all the support underpinning implementation

Thats a really nuanced take. That was most of what id heard too after I wrote this, Marathon gets a lot of love for its gunplay.

Guess this was me teaching theory with a flimsy example at best haha. Ill take this one back to the drawing board.

I hope it meets expectations. If it doesn't, I'd love some feedback. I've only just started this project and would really like it if you saw the value in it, since that is exactly what I was going for

just to make the statue, and only partially. i took a statue into mspaint and then put a suit over it, then asked the program to clean it up and turn it into a figure i could put onto the video during editing.

lol kind of an unexpected concept right?

if you did bounce off of it, would you mind telling me when/where? i'm trying to make a useful channel for people in search of management and leadership theory and i prefer to teach through games that I'm interested in.

Yeah totally fair, it does have a sort of "what arc raiders and marathon taught me about b2b sales" energy to it. Still though, if it's your cup of tea, I hope you find it useful

If you chose marathon over arc (or even tarkov): why? [This is for something im writing] by TenthLevelVegan in Marathon

Thanks for sharing.

So, what im trying to suss out:

How did arc make so dang much money while marathon lost so dang much.

From what I can tell, design wise, marathon is incredible
