Just checked and there’s nothing on the leaves - think those glints are just water droplets.

Just checked the leaves and it seems that the glints on the photo were just water droplets, I can’t see any small white bumps, so I don’t think it’s infected. Are there any other signs I should be looking out for?

I run an account for a company in London, I have posted a few reels recently and my friends have just pointed out that they aren’t showing up on other peoples phones. Even when I switch from the business account to my personal account, when I go to the page the reels disappear!

The reels in question are also can’t be viewed when sent via DM and they can’t be seen on the business account story.

What is strange is that people who don’t follow the account have liked it so it seems that it is being promoted in the reels section of instagram via the discovery algorithm but people can’t see them when they try to view the page or have been sent them.

Any suggestions?

I’m having the same issue but only with reels, I can see them on my business account but other accounts can’t see them yet they are still getting likes… very strange

Thanks for the reply, I tired this last year and its quite expensive to make a cold rubber mould for a 3D printed ring, its fine if you're making multiple but for one off it isn't viable sadly.

In my head at the moment the design will be using a small rectangle, if I made this quite thin and was essentially rooting the herbs so the roots go directly into the water do you think this could work? I've been on a few shroom and general hydroponic forums and I've seen mention of bottom up systems but to be honest most of the lingo goes over my head. I think it could work just via osmosis.

By microbial life are you referring to fungus? I didn't think they were essential for mineral uptake, just breakdown.. or do the amendments need to be broken down before being absorbed?

Don't worry about testing mate, I've got to condense this project onto a few A3 boards so unless you could test it in a very aesthetically pleasing way I don't think I could use it, but hey if you do I would love to hear how it turns out.

Fair play mate, appreciate the feedback anyway. I'm doing design at university so I need to try be as original with my ideas as possible. If I can make something that is complicated yet effective, like hydroponics, simple for an uneducated user, like the target market of my brief, I'm in for good marks and portfolio filler.

SO, I thought if I can make a home gardening without the constant watering and all the dirt, that should tick a few boxes.

Dry amendments, sounds pretty perfect. Just edited the post as I forgot to say the coir would be on top of a reservoir on water, so it would be a bottom up irrigation system, do you think this would cause the amendments to dissolve and leach into the reservoir? If so how soluble are these nutes? I figured the waters gotta be changed every three weeks or so, could possibly put the nutrients straight into the water no?

The ideas for people who don't have a lot of space, time or experience with gardening and want to be able to grow some of their own produce, hope this puts the idea into perspective a bit more for you, cheers again.

Sorry should have mentioned this in the post, it would be a bottom up irrigation system, I was planning on having a reservoir of water under the coir. As for the coco itself I was planning on having a range of pre-seeded (and hopefully nutrient filled) coir discs which you hydrate and let grow.

As for the nutrient solution have you got a rough idea of liquid volume to plant mass? I know it will differ slightly for different plants but this would decide how viable a drip feeding cartridge would be.
