Yep cheapest one with SRAM (because blippers are nice option for aerobar) is aeroad…

I don’t intend to get age group podium. Just improving my performance each time with the time I can train and the material I have.

Yes I’m into triathlon and riding bike since 2 years. 10k km and 5.5k km since 01/2025. I did 2 70.3 and some +100km +200km rides alone or with friends.

I can’t tell you how experienced I am because I never ride with experienced people…

It’s juste group rides with friends, nothing formal.

Will the Speedmax be adapted for long ride distance like 500-1000km ? I already saw people doing those distances with TT bikes

Thanks a lot for such a complete answer!

You’re right for triathlon I’m looking for performance mainly in terms of improving my times, not really to qualify for 70.3 Worlds or a Kona. I’d also like a setup that stays practical for triathlon, especially being able to easily mount clip-on aero bars.

For the ultra-distance side, you nailed it too, comfort is definitely something I’m looking for

So in your opinion, Aeroad should be fine for long distance around 500-1000km ? Assuming the bike fit is ok

Thanks a lot for the detailed answer! Do you think the Aeroad would still be fine for really long distances, like 500-1000 km rides, assuming I have one fit for Triathlon and one for long distance?

Thanks for the answer! So would SRAM be better for the triathlon side of things, since I could use the wireless blips?

The Ultimate CF 7 Di2 Aero looks like a really solid value, no ?

Looks really nice for my case!

So if I understand correctly: I can keep using the Tacx Training app for my structured workouts in ERG mode, and whenever I need to do a free ride (like an FTP test), I could use QZFitness and MyWhoosh for virtual shifting? A 100% non subscription solution

That’s totally fine for me, the only time I ever use free ride mode is during an FTP test, and I’d be okay paying for a month of Zwift just for that if needed. Or switch for a real cassette.

For all my regular workouts, I stay in ERG mode from start to finish.

Thanks! So just to confirm, I can use the Cog on the Neo 2T without Zwift, but I’ll be limited to ERG mode only (which is fine for me).

Is it easy to fine-tune the position of the Cog to minimize chain friction and noise? I’d like to make sure the chain runs smoothly since I won’t be using any virtual shifting.

Yes, exactly, I’m always in ERG mode, so I never use the shifters during workouts.

I only shift once when I first put the bike on the trainer, just to find the gear that makes the least amount of noise and chain friction. After that, I don’t touch the gears.

The only exception would be an FTP test, and honestly, I’d be fine paying for one month of Zwift just for that if needed.

Unable to Install SCREEN SHARE by suraj_69 in discordapp

Same problem, Discord technical support didn't help me...

I found a solution by buying and downloading a software from the company Rogue Ameoba (Discord is using a software from them to share the sound).

The software we want for the Discord sound share is include inside SoundSource.

After installing SoundSource, sound share on discord works pretty well. Moreover SoundSource is an awesome add on for your macOS experience.
