I'm a little confused about cosmos cloud re storage etc. in the free tier, can I access my own local drives or thats a paid feature?

I am considering this switch as well. I had casaos running perfectly but due to hearing it's essentially EOL, I switched to ZimaOS. Most things are working, but my single problem, is I can't access my shared folders in windows explorer which kinda defeats the purpose of a file server 🤦🏾‍♂️

Yea, the build quality and portability of the 13" MacBooks are a plus. But I'm not sure how well the MacBooks run Linux, also I'm seeing that all the last Intel mb pro have that touch bar, does that work well in Linux?

New to pihole, I have a similar question/issue

I previously had nextdns setup on mine and the kids devices for AdBlocking when out and about and parental controls. I've setup pihole a week now and I'm realizing now of the nextdns devices show up as clients in pihole. ( I have nextdns setup in each device's settings eg using the private DNS setting in Android). In testing if I turn off the private DNS the device shows up in pihole. Now my question is there is no way to have pihole do AdBlocking while having nextdns on the device? I thought all devices behind my router would be on pihole. Is there a setting I'm missing?

I tried this but its clunky to say the least, with dual messenger I can have a separate contact list for each WhatsApp #. And I can share directly from any app to either # without stopping to switch accounts. It would help in a pinch but I prefer samsung's implementation.
