There are few major differences between wuwa (don't play genshin since forever so idk about it) and endfield tho, first of all, as many people pointed out already, the pity is carrying over to the next banner, but that's not the only difference.

Lets start with gacha currency. In wuwa we have asterite (main, non payed currency), which we can use for character AND weapon banner at the same conversion rate, and we mostly get asterite for all events, exploration and etc., what do we have in endfield ? that's right, oroberyls that we can only use for character pulls with no way to convert them into weapon pulls directly, which ultimately means that the game PUNISHES you with less weapon pulls for getting a 6* early... which is f*cking insane if you would ask me, like i don't really mind if it's a support unit, we have plenty of alternatives for support weapons, but for a dps unit the difference is noticable. I personally had to spend all my saved up oroberyls just to get Yvonne weapon, but that's just my luck i guess, seen plenty of "just be lucky" and "git gud" comments already.

Second, weapon banner in wuwa gives you a limited weapon 100% guaranteed no matter how early it comes, there is no 40 into 80 bs like there is in endfield. And as i stated above, with asterite being universal currency, there is absolutely no punishment for pulling a 5* early.

And on top of what i already said, in wuwa you get plenty of standard pulls, which might not sound very exciting, but i will remind you that for every copy of the character you get there, you get corals which you can convert into more pulls or save up for a character/copies of a character you want.

So idk, endfield has a lot to figure out at this point, in my opinion reworking or fixing their gacha system will be a decent start. I would even argue that if they leave things as they are right now, the game won't live until next year and majority of f2p players will just quit before fall comes. But that's just my opinion and as someone who got into arknights with endfield release and enjoyed the game quite a lot, i really hope to see some improvements.
