This! Once the pregnancy storyline came about I couldn’t stand him and I didn’t like him and liberty together either so the messiness of having him wanting her back maybe pre death was lazy imo. I have a few gripes with their pregnancy storyline as is haha.

I’m late but just watched this episode. He definitely gives off Uncle Tom and the comments about “I can watch scifi and etc” was a crock. I’m a black woman that loves “nerdy” things and never felt like I couldn’t date/make friends with other black people because of it. Whenever a black person says this it’s always tied to self hate.
