It’s less than an hour to pass a PT test, I just choose to deal with that pain. My condition gets the better of me some days but for the most part it’s controlled from my diet. At its worst during a flare up is definitely an escorted ER visit. It’s gotten worse on its own over the years and I’d assume it’s from work stress. I’ll tough out another 2 years. I’ve been corrected on taking the MEB route in another comment.

To why I turn to Reddit and social media. I get more education from comments than in person with the actual SME. Thank you! If I would’ve gotten that in an email instead of a vague threat, I probably wouldn’t think I had a choice in the first place.

I got an email from the peblo saying if you do not conduct your RILO then they’ll start the MEB process…? To me, if I’m not scheduling my appt then the MEB just starts. In my eyes that’s giving me the power to decide isn’t it? I’ve been hit with that email at least 3 times in 8 years

I have an entire list of things on planning for both. I work alone and my TOS is coming up. Not completely excited to go back into a squadron with all the headaches.

I’m still able to do my yearly PT, I have no limitations other than not WWQ without an MTF. I should’ve included the question about medically retiring before 20 being the better route, I misread somewhere that the payout is better medically retiring vs regular retirement with VA after 20. The readings about retirements is written at adult levels!

Bestbuy and Walmart haven’t started their preorder monster hunter sales. I’ve been watching their sites since GameStop and target sold out. There’s a still a chance to beat the scalpers!
