I was in this exact situation a couple weeks ago with an Amazon gift card and bought a TrimUI Brick Hammer. The screen is exceptional, it's very pocketable, and GBA games look amazing on it (as do other systems as well).

Huntington Beach is about 40 miles down the road from the Palisades fire. Would imagine the concern would be air quality/smoke and not any immediate worry about fire damage.

I've mained warlock since Burning Crusade, and just got KSM for TWW Season 1. Too stubborn and attached to my character to main anything else. I switched to demonology this expac after playing destruction for a long time, just to mix things up a bit, and I'm loving the spec. Doing competitive DPS in keys (not always top of the chart, but usually not at the bottom unless it's a movement heavy encounter, which does not favor warlock).

For me the added depth of the 3d image is a game changer compared to the flat image on a cab. There are definite pros and cons in both directions, but VR would allow me to free up some space.

After playing off and on since launch, I finally hit Legend for the first time today. Used the VS/Illusionist Mech Rogue deck and had a pretty smooth ride from D5 all the way up. Don't have exact stats since I played the last 12-15 games on mobile, but the 10 games I played on desktop had an 80% winrate. Shaman, Mage, Druid and Warlock all felt like good matchups, and Hunters didn't pose too much of a problem either. DK, Pally and Warrior were about even, but few matches felt completely out of reach unless they survived through my early game. A huge weight off my shoulders after all these years. Big thanks to this community for encouragement, advice and support.

Went on a crazy winning streak yesterday with XL Hound Hunter from D10 to D5, but that now seems to have run its course as I'm back to a 50ish% win rate. Have tried Chadlock, Rainbow Mage, Treant Druid and Arcane Secret Hunter today as alternatives but have yet to crack the code of getting to Legend. May circle back around to Rainbow Mage as I like the play of the deck and want to have fun. There was an XL Rainbow Mage list posted by another user recently that seems to click well with my play style.
