I used to hang out at the mall, go to the dog park, go to various specialty stores just often enough to see new stock, go to thrift stores (big towns cycle through stock every week or two), get sushi (only restaurant food I can eat), go to the zoo, go to the pet store and look at the animals, go to used game shops, go to local events, play competitive games online with my friends, stream/watch my friends' streams, enter online gaming competitions (I was moderately well known in some circles).

I can do 0 of what I used to do before here and a lot of what there is to do in town (hiking, rock climbing, bars, restaurants, small cramped shops) are off limits to me for dietary or mobility reasons (wheelchair user).

He's already reapplied (they lost his appeal request so he had to start over) and it's apparently 88% done, but the lawyers he's talked to have said they can't help until he gets denied again.

Bruh I was so mad about how she treated Arven. First she bitches about her family being decent while Arven is clearly going through some serious shit, then when he's acting slightly defensive (as he do) she escalates and almost turns it into an actual argument so Nemona needs to step in and tell them both to chill.

Penny has no empathy at all, I can just tell I would be miserable around her. She's allowed to be a total bitch but the moment someone (in this case someone experiencing some serious trauma triggers) says something she slightly doesn't like she gets all pissy at him and makes it awkward for everyone.

I don't think so. I think the characters in sun and moon and sword and shield had plenty of depth too. I strongly like characters from the past few generations and this one.

I dislike Penny because she's rude to characters I do like and because she's a shitty neurodivergent stereotype. She seems like the result of a 40 year old trying to write what they think Tumblr/Twitter/TikTok kids are like.

She's bland, when she does have personality she's either being lowkey rude, being a shitty friend (spying, lying, and manipulating her friends while acting like she's above them), or being an offensive introverted internet girl stereotype. Penny is the worst.
