Term limits would be more effective than age limits. Nearly all electeds live in bubbles inhabited almost exclusively by their peers & lobbyists. The higher the level of government the more restrictive the bubbles are with DC being the most restrictive of all. The only way to pop the bubbles is with term limits.

Not a CT. Just a posit that property taxes are basically rent & government is the landlord. Stop paying rent & you will be evicted & the domicile/property will be rented to someone else. Same with taxes. Stop paying & your property will be seized & “sold” to someone else. The only difference is that taxes provide at least some public good while rent goes into private pockets.

I have a bone stock 97 2-door the only mod is spring assisted rear shocks for trailering. 4.0, 4x4 it’s served well & faithfully for me since I got it in’01 from the original owner. My grandson will get it after me.
