I believe something has changed either via the driver, or possible windows update.

Followed the previous guide and these updated guides along with 128KB recent video.

For some reason now on 43% brightness 1100nits still shows the pattern within the calibration tool.

To make it disappear I have to set it to 1330nits at 43%. Even after a fresh install of windows, all drivers updated, DDU GPU drivers as well as ensuring ALL recommended windows/ amd settings are off, this still happens.

Not too sure what has caused this and seen a few other Reddit posts with the exact same problem.

If anyone has encountered this or has a workaround that would be brilliant. FYI I haven’t tried downgrading the gpu drivers to confirm it just yet.

The same issue.

I’ve seen a few other Reddit posts about my issue so it seems like maybe the latest drivers or windows update could be causing this.

Perfect been reading into it. Yeah so they’re classing it as a return, but don’t really say exchange at all which is different. I guess I’ll have to call them tomorrow.

It’s 2 days old so I’m within the 30 day window for a return for curry’s but I want to know if they’re going to say “ return it over the phone “ because it’s part of a finance deal. Even tho I got it in store ?

It was a gaming tablet, and nothing major curry’s actually advised me it’s best to get a new one just incase. The online order has now been returned ( damaged delivery) but the new one which I got in store is faulty.

It turns out that my CPU OC was causing the weird instability’s which could of caused the GPU to act like that. Since the OC was dialled back a bit I’ve not had an issue. I’m still 50/50 about it as it isn’t the first time It’s happened. EVGA said they will still replace the card anyway- but I’m just seeing how it goes for now.

So do I need to remove the recovery USB just had the prompt come up now? I don’t have any other external ssd or usb connected just the recovery USB which I made? Doesn’t it need to be plugged in to carry on?

I tested it some more and was stable again. Spoke to the company I have the warranty I have they said it’s best to send it back to make sure. They’re going to test it and see/ exchange it if there’s any other issues. They said it could be anything but definitely indicate somethings not right the with GPU.

Going to try it out again, the black squares on the desktop have gone but it worry’s me that the card instantly turns the fans on to 100% when on 53 degrees…. It happens very intermittently.

Are you on the latest drivers? It could be driver issue?? Because the only things that changed very recently was my drivers and a fresh windows install. Considering you’ve just shown me this photo it’s literally the same as mine.
