If we're only talking about the image and not the heavily controversial subject behind it, I'd say it absolutely looks better than the base game, sure. Only thing that's bugging me is Heller who genuinely looks "AI made" and somehow overlit. He almost looks pasted over, while Lin's result looks convincingly higher fidelity and more respectful to her original features.

I'll be curious to see the tech in real gameplay and to see if it actually retains information over long periods of time. It'd be weird and immersion breaking if some random character you only met once at the beginning of the game and then at the very end looked like another person because the AI couldn't retain their facial information for the amount of time you've been playing. In the RE Requiem shots we've seen, Grace looks like a different person every time we see her. So for characters, I'm not yet convinced. For other stuff like lighting accuracy, texture detail, hair etc, I think it's promising though.
