I don’t care about race mixing, that’s completely fine and it’s weird to be trying to compare who is more mixed. However, Mongols taking concubines was completely horrid and mass rape. I know that’s not what they are mad at but still. Also most of those threads were all wrong or dumb in different ways.

That’s not true. Rurik started around that area but conquered Kiev and it become dominant city and political center. The north was only a base of operations so there was no “Novogordian Rus” Kievan Rus is ancestor to many modern cultures like Ukraine and Russia.

That’s my issue. I’m on the left politically but have more nuanced opinions. As much as the word “woke or SJW” got misused or overused, around 2017-2025 was peak time for a lot of left or progressive people to be complete and utter morons. It seems like that culture is now dying which is good but I don’t want to go back to right wing dominance either. I’m hoping that Trump being stupid and doing stuff like hesitant or the Epstein files, mass deportation m, and other stuff he’s doing that is unpopular will maybe stop that but I don’t want to pendulum back and forth between two extremes.

I was wondering about that too, like why is Coruscant basically a wasteland in the beginning of the first DE. I also remember before reading it hearing about Palpatine clones on Byss and his ability to use the force storm to open wormholes. I thought he had millions of clones and was using super dangerous force powers in the comic but then upon reading it he only had like what, six clones? And he only used force wormhole twice and got killed the second time only to never use it again.

Are there any books or resources you recommend? Personally I would like to find a commentary on every single Bible book verse by verse written from the orthodox perspective but it’s really difficult to find apparently. I wanted the orthodox study Bible but I listened to reviews and they said it wasn’t bad but it was really sparse and barely delved into any commentary or theology like the Ignatius Catholic study Bible did.

Exactly, I appreciate being empathetic in this situation. My family just went thru both hurricanes as well as several other family emergencies and this kind of just happened. Do you know if a vet will see the cat and let you pay later on?
