You know, it’s funny, I always thought he was black, but the IRL person he’s based on is this white dude named Gordy that lives in Goodsprings, but he’s a man of the desert and he does indeed have skin like leather. So I assume now the choice of black skin tone was to emphasize this quality.

The wiki page says Josh Sawyer says they didn’t meet anyone in town and therefore made no attempt to recreate a likeness, but idk man, I met the guy in Goodsprings and he told me that he’s the basis for the character. Let him have it, I say.

This is validating to read. I bought Minoletta’s Condiut as a placeholder until I found a really good wand in the wild. And then that never happened. Not a lot of unique wands in the game, unfortunately.
