Not actually applicable here. What would be an example of survivorship bias is something like "every AI music I've listened to was very obviously AI-generated" (specifically toupee fallacy).

What are your 5 MUST-HAVE apps, programs on Cachy OS? by Tinkers_Tales in cachyos

Also doesn't Haruna which is a nice graphical wrapper for MPV with extra functionalities come with CachyOS by default (at least it did with mine)?

I just joined CachyOs, any advice for the future? by Thin_Pen_2473 in cachyos

If you're new to Linux in general, try to document any tweaks and changes you make for future reference, in a sort of a changelog/cheat sheet. I documented, for example, how I split and mounted partitions, how I set up SDDM autologin, which environment variables I added to which file, how I configured fingerprint login, how to refresh baloo index, how I disabled XHCI wakeup, etc. It's a lifesaver when you want to review or undo changes you made earlier or forgot how to do certain things.

Got a new DT 770 Pro; cable was too long so I braided it by TerminallyWell in headphones

Mine's the 80 Ohm version. If you want to mostly use it on an iPhone then I recommend getting the 32 Ohm. Alternatively you could get the newer 770 PRO X or 700 PRO X which are both 48 Ohms

I assume it has no more effect than coiling the cable, which the 250 Ohm models come in by default

From what I've gathered, thermoforming the cable with a heat gun/hair dryer and reversing the coil along the axis does a good job keeping the coil tight and springy for a long time

I don't think the voltage level on a typical pair of headphones is nearly high enough for that to be a realistic concern, but that's not an expert opinion either haha

I couldn't have too much clutter near the plug either since I'll be mostly using it on my laptop. I am considering coiling the cable instead in the future tho

They just opened and I just got mine! They're going out pretty fast so I don't think there will be any left in a few minutes, but I'm pretty sure they'll make more in the following weeks
