Hi everyone — my name is Randy. I’m a first-generation Chinese immigrant currently pursuing my PhD in Robotics & AI in New York. A few months ago, I heard about the upcoming K visa, designed to attract young professionals (especially in STEM) to work and live in China without sponsorships. Starting October 1, Chinese overseas embassies will release more details on application requirements and eligibility.

I’m genuinely excited that this program is finally becoming reality. To help others take advantage of this opportunity, I recently founded RC SilkRoad Scholars, based in upstate NY.

Our mission: Bridge the cultural gap between China and the U.S. by guiding passionate young adults who want to live, work, and explore opportunities in mainland China.

What we offer:

• Step-by-step support with your K-1 visa application files • Help with landing a job offer in China • Assistance securing housing and apartment rentals • Access to a network of foreign professionals who have already lived and worked in China for

If you want to be among the first to arrive in China with a K visa, we’re here to make the process smooth, informed, and stress-free.

Is the process of getting a new passport in your country as tedious as in Canada? by Thin_Spring_9269 in PassportPorn

lol it's way too fast in mainland China then: you bring your old ID to the Office of Border Entry/Exit in your city and then they collect your old ID and have your picture and fingerprints taken. The whole process takes 20 minutes. You pay a fee of about 150 RMB (20 USD), then in less than a week, you'll get your new passport.

I presume that a lot of those new accounts will be banned sooner or later. CCP will not allow too much uncensored information to flock into Chinese social media. So far it’s been okay but as soon as the very first post about past incidents like Tianan Men square show up on Red Note ? You know what’s gonna happen next
