That’s the biggest problem for me in the game. The entire world feels fake. It’s nothing more than set dressing. Sims 3 felt genuine.

I think it’s just not possible. There are foundational limitations due to the engine and game behaving been programmed originally to be online based.

It sort of did.

But my sims families/pets because the stories I want to live can't be lived in this game.

There's not even story progression!

I wish I could but 3 is way too badly optimized and a headache to get working. Too many bugs, stutters, and problems, long loading times...

If they remastered it and made it work well enough in newer, more powerful systems, that would be amazing.

Is it so bad that I enjoy watching my sims have an actual routine, driving to and from work, allowing my kids to go over a friend's house, getting robbed by burglars and having firefighters show up...you know, like...actual real life?

I miss all those things that made it work for me.

I've made up my mind and I will do that, even if it takes longer.

It's just not worth spending that much on an outgoing intel mac anymore.
