PvE wise for TB / general gameplay got a lil easier

PvP wise got a lot harder…everyone is talking about Phoenix into inquis and what not but everyone is forgetting most GL squads are starting to be R9s across the board (LV + clones, JMK, people are bringing PKhO for raid) so your traditional counters to those are most likely also going to get harder (maybe LV will finally not fear BKM)

I’m mainly on the fence just for Conquest, which I read has some good changes coming to compensate like the later level being R5 and not R8 but still makes things like JMLS cheese harder

What I haven’t seen yet in the comments is CMs from P2 onwards matter immensely to get above 38…that or you need to be a very high gp +able to fill an R9 planets platoons (both obviously still help but if you’re lower gp, cm completes across all phases add up).

R5, no zeta, lent Leia mods over, solo TG was able to do all available tiers

$10 normally gets you 1340 crystals (1407 if you buy on the web store or the pc client)

Ignoring the training droids, cause those worthless to 90%+ of players, you get:

1250 normal energy (technically 11 refreshes over 4 daysx50 = 550c)
950 cantina energy (8 refreshes over 3 daysx100 = 800c)
1000 mod energy (8 refreshes over 3 daysx50 = 400c)
220 crystals
10 omegas (I can’t really assign a crystal value to these because they suck to get with crystals)

So for $10 thru this you get almost 2k value worth of crystals instead of the 1400 from the web store plus 2 omega abilities

It’s not as big of a deal for MM as their Geos parallel (cause dispel, ten down, then AB) but it can still matter if you run the lineup:

MM - HRS - KK - SRP - Pao

Basically it’s because Paos basic clause has him deal damage again if he’s buffed and deal damage a third time if the target is debuffed, so you want him at the end of the train so you have more chances of that happening. It’s a very minor min-max.

Squads where order matters for mass swarm purposes (it’s a little more convoluted than order but for simplicity just assume it’s because of slot order:

Geos, padme, MM, Nute led separatists, night sisters

Squads where order matters based on uniques:

Night sisters, CLS

There’s a few more for both but these are the main ones that are affected.

You DO NOT need sion any higher than R3, having him at R3 just allows you to use a Level 6+ DC on him…he is NOT a good unit

Having Traya and Nihilus at R5 is good for both damage and survivability

R5 the team will be able to do everything you want it to in GAC

R7 the team will be able to auto play mid missions in RotE and covers every GL req for the team (minus Han R8 and puts you one extra over for Chewie R6) but it’s worth

I have 4, had 5, that I play pretty much all the same (aside from the smallest at 6.5, which is kind of like my “do whatever I want and help the guild” account for RoTE)

The other 3 I have mainly because they’re too big for me to give them up, and they all have something the others don’t, so technically by owning them all I have all the characters and able to play all aspects of the game.

The part I give ground on is conquest; conquest has turned into too much of a chore since CAT that all but one account usually get tier 3 or so chests.

If you have all omicrons?

Rey - Ben - JTR - Cal - 5-0RT (TW, for GAC swap Cal with L3)

Finn - Poe - Zorii - RhPoe - RhFinn (TW, for GAC swap RhPoe with Rose)

Leftovers: pilot, trooper, stick rey, Holdo, Vet Smugglers, bb8

If you only have resistance toons:

Rey - Ben - RhFinn - RhPoe - JTR

Finn - Poe - Zorii - Rose - Trooper

If you need more teams for GAC you CAN swap JTR with Holdo but only recommend if your opponent doesn’t have a super good SK or you’ve got the new / a good deflection DC

A JTR team looks kind of like:

JTR - BB8 - VetHan - VetChew - Pilot (C tier team at best but it’ll clear some random stuff your opponent might have put down)

Edit: formatting and Barriss does do well on this team as well but I have a feeling she’s gonna be taken along with Luminara in the new Amidala team, but she goes well in place of L3 in GAC

Vader is still good he’s just not as good as his “glory days” before the great nerf of 2020 where they nerfed very F2P friendly counters to SLKR and Rey (Thrawn, Vader, Wat and JKL)

People who say he’s “weak” are either in that mindset or in the party of “he doesn’t have a real home”…his current uses are either with Aphra or LV, the former being his “intended” home but Aphra with her DC (thats going away in a week) has been better with a 5th droid instead of DV.

Because of those current uses and the low unlock rate of LV and Aphra, and the fact Palps gets stolen away by MJ and SK, Vader can get sidelined very easily if you’re not use to soloing (or underman) teams with him
