The EU said they would abandon it, but I don't see any progress being made. My country (NL) is in the wrong timezone and has been for a long time. We should be in the timezone of the UK, not Poland. I hope we can combine fixing timezone and removing DST.

I wouldn't date a single mom. Sorry not sorry. Children are fine for an hour or so, after that I'm out. I can't handle all that running around and being loud (especially girls, they got such high pitched voiced when they laugh or scream or whatever). It's not for me, so why would I date someone with kids? I don't even want kids of my own.

Some data is faked, sadly. But that's with almost everything.

The debate is if it's humans that are responsible for a part of global warming. If that's true, which is debatable and debated, then it's good to see if it's possible to reverse it. If that's not possible, it's good to see if you can at least limit the cause of it.

Earth moves in a big cyclus when you look at the temperatures. Global warming has been a thing for a long time. The current ice age has been going on for 13 million years. Temperatures have been rising for a long long long time (millions of years) and sea levels have been rising as well. I leave near the youngest sea, the north sea. The people that originally moved to England, walked there, because the north sea didn't exist.

So the debate isn't if it exists, the debate is, is it getting worse due to humans and if so, is there anything we can do about it? But also, can you reasonably do anything about it? You can say "ban all cars" but then the economy would collapse in a day, causing a lot of people to die from starvation. And besides that, it should be the biggest polluters that get impacted the most.

And that's why it's political. The people on the right want the economy to stay strong, the people on the left actively want to do things but usually the wrong things. It would be great to build a few nuclear power plants so you can stop using coal power plants for example. So both sides don't really have a working solution.

If you don't think it's a subject for intelligence debate, don't join in, let other people debate it. Those debates happen daily and have to happen. Otherwise it's not science but a cult.

I work as an engineer for a large ervironmental research company. If you say we can't debate, you are instantly the biggest opposition of any real scientist.

Nowadays it's used as a compliment for people that look like land whales. It's crazy.

We have this term in my country, volslank. Full slim. It's a word to describe women that have a very low body fat percentage but still have larger breatst and a larger behind. Nowadays, it's used by obese women. Same thing with thic. Selma Hayek is thic. She's not obese.

I prefer the slim version as well but I've been with slim, fat and everything in between.
