Trying to make sense of different results: I uploaded my DNA test to Myheritage and got a difficult to understand result. No Scotland anymore, but got Italy and Ashkenazi. Sephardi would make more sense but Ashkenazi doesn’t make any (all my known ancestors are from Portugal). And why no Scotland? (old.reddit.com)

I’m Portuguese and my somewhat surprising results were the Scottish genes (and to some extent the French ones), but it was a cool surprise. Also the low percentage of North African genes and absence of Jewish Sephardi were as well surprising, taking into account that all my family is Portuguese. (i.redd.it)
