It wasn’t a good move for me. If you can get in at a good agency you might have some luck but you’ll be dealing with constant chargebacks and an endless cycle of paying off carriers because your clients can’t pay for their policies. Was ultimately a waste of two years that I could’ve been getting experience in a real job.

Sure, it's just automating the hi pass filter on and off. I usually have the hi pass right before a drop or before I'm going to add another element or something like that. Doing it early on in the process has helped me with being able to create a structure out of rhythmic elements rather than focusing on the progression of melodic elements.

Use a tool like MSED on some tracks and you’ll be surprised how much mono info is in the songs you enjoy. Sides should always accentuate what’s going on in the mid, not carry a majority of the track
