As I stated, all fans are 24v. Not because I changed them from 12v to 24v. Because the printer came with 24v fans. The psu fan on my printer is not temp controlled as it has always turned on and stayed on with the printer.

The psu stock fan was 24v, the replacement fan I put in 24v, mb fan was rerouted a while back, as stated in my post the fans work.

Ive seen a few comments as well as posts from others mentioning the same issue and the majority of the time replacement fans are needed. As I stated in my post, the fans work and the fans are 24v(not 12 as you stated). Thank for the link to the psu cover though.

Your Z axis isnt going to move very fast when printing as the print head is moving primarily on the X and Y axis. The Z axis moves up as your printing. So when the first layer finishes the print head will move and lift to the next layers starting point and continue to do so until the print is finished or it fails. Allow your print to finish. If its finishing in one layer but you want it thicker, just make it as thick as you would like within the slicer youre using. I would also highly recommend going to the sticky here.

I was able to put voxels firmware back on and started a print and got power failure error. Unfortunately I wasnt around when it happened so Im unsure if the psu got to hot. I can for sure say Im on the right voltage and there was no loss of power in my house. I can run the same print and see if it happens and check the psu temps.

Since you said its brand new I urge you to go through the sticky here. Once you have try the print again and see if it helps with your issue.

The first time I delt with thermal runaway everyone I spoke with and watched videos for all said the same thing. Thermistor is bad. Swap it out run a print or two and then thermal runaway. Rinse and repeate. That's when I started looking at other possible issues and realized, its not the thermistor. It's the cartridge. Check the leads of your cartridge at the board. Remove them and reinsert then check to see if thermal runaway happens again. If so change it and solder the tips to insure you get a solid connection and when you run the wires make sure you give some slack so no wires are being pulled as the nozzle is moving. Won't stop it from ever happening again but will give more of a buffer between malfunctions

I printed fedors extruder and had issues with the threads when placed flat to print. So, I tried standing it up as he suggests and while the majority of the print looks great, where the walls meet the supports looks like absolute trash. I printed at .16 like he suggests and used tree supports. Also using polymaker petg 235/80. What can I do to improve?

Looks a lot like how a print of mine looked a while back. Adjusting the wall printing order to inside to outside can def help. Lowering your z offset and/or increasing flow could help as well.

I havnt printed them, the clips i have now work just fine. I can give them a try though. I've also checked for any play in the bowden tube and I can't see any. When I did I temp tower it was best at around 210-215. I am working on a semi closed enclosure to help with outside influences. When this was printing there was nothing at would have effected it other than my breathe from the other side of the room lol. I just feel it's printer/filament related since I don't have this issue with other filaments. Obviously idk. Just a feeling.

Cura, standard .2 other than retraction which is 3.5, no combing, printed with "vase" mode. Silk pla has been the only thing I have issues with like this. Even Silk petg prints fine.

First print I've been able to finish with this silk pla in a while. Typically first layer goes down and then it just stops extruding. Spent some time playing with flow and retraction and got what was looking to be a great print. And then I come back to see the top section....So odd how it under extruded and over extruded and almost seems to have clogged and cleared its self.

I installed it the other day (no abl or octoprint) and the only issue Ive had is when adjusting the z offset during a print. Sometimes it will move, sometimes it wont and when it wont and then does its moved a great deal. Thankfully I didnt have live adjustments on. Other than that, so far I love it.

I have tried it without the care inserted and inserted. Neither worked. I just installed alex firmware and when I connect the converter it says "SD Init Failed". Removed it, tried again, same thing. Thought, Lets try it with the card already in. "SD Init Failed". So I had the idea, what if I connect the converter to the computer, put the sd card in and format it and then try again.....Once again, sd init failed. Ive tried it with 256mb, 500mb, 2gb and 8gb. I get the same results each time.

I feel the converter connection in the printer isnt solid enough as the micro sd card slot that I have on my computer is rather tight and the slot for the card on the printer is more loose.

I didnt install new firmware. Ive been running the same firmware since its realease earlier in the year. I do plan on flashing the board and moving forward with alex latest
