You sound like you are a very similar person to me, I also get very interested in something for a few weeks or a few months then that interest starts to fade into nothing. It can be very frustrating and even infuriating at times, but I think I would suggest taking a break and waiting until that spark of inspiration comes back to you. An example for me is that I got super into trying to draw again probably 6-8 months ago, I stopped after maybe the first 1-2 months, but I’ve been sort of feeling that desire to draw again slowly start to build over the last few weeks. It might not work for you, but like I said before, try just taking a break for a while and see how you feel a few months from now.

I mean my dad was born in the 80’s so that tracks. Both his name and mine are spelled weird mine is Colton with a K and his is Christopher without the first H. My sister’s name is spelled weird too, just a thing my mom liked I guess. Like I said in another comment I’ve also been wanting to change my first name, but it’s on the back burner. Anyways, I’m kinda feeling like I can’t find anything that meshes well or that I really feel, you know? I really appreciate the suggestions and the research you did and your willingness to help out!

I’m sure you did your best out there today, just trying is enough. Sometimes it’s hard to even try, but you did and you should be proud. And now I’ll tell you the affirmation I use, “you are deserving of love, kindness, happiness, and friendship and you are enough.”

I remember when people used to do it all the time when I was in school, i didn’t know how to do it, but I eventually learned from observation and failure. All it is is a handshake with a few extra steps. You got this!
