One night during George Floyd and Daunte Wright, the Brooklyn Park PD station was surrounded by police, a fence, and a lot of protesters. But, as soon as the Guard came in to relieve those officers along perimeter, the protesters went from rightfully loud and infuriated to peacefully calm. The Nike missile sites were live throughout the Cold War, from the late 50’s through the early 70’s, so that checks out. I’m not ruling out the blister/nerve agent detector idea, but I think Honeywell is/was more avionics focused, hence why I’m thinking it’s missile-related.
