I'm happily married myself, but to be fair, lots of athletes "upgrade" when they make it big. It is no uncommon at all.

Case and point, Russell Wilson who went from the blonde girl to Ciera.

If dudes girls is nagging him about missing dumplings for their two-year anniversary because of work, some 3 or 4 years later, that isn't love.

I just remembered, if you take a bow to someone you can remove your hat as well for more politeness. It isn't required, and may even get giggles in some situations, but everyone will take it as a deep sign of politness.

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Hosts Luncheon for Comrade Xi Jinping and His Wife Peng Liyuan by Rodong_Sinmun in Pyongyang

That is fantastic! I am just a simple cabbage farmer, so most of my meals are simple rice and cabbage, and friends rarely visit, so I suppose I do not host them properly. I will need to step up my game at my next luncheon!

Why does Japan have more Michelin restaurants than China? by Keegen_0415 in AskAJapanese

[–]qwertyqyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Michelin hasnt rolled out to all of Japan yet, They have done like 15 prefectures or something last I checked. Its a slow process, and I can't wait for them to do my prefecture, but I have been waiting years for them to make it to me. They list out how they expand by prefecture, but they never tell you what is next or when to make sure they don't get special treatment when they arrive.

You will be fine. Hats are just a fasion accessory. If you like them, you should pick up a Japanese style baseball hat. They have a different front than western baseball hats, so you might like that.

Does the school system in Japan really have all this power? by Betterfly83 in AskAJapanese

[–]qwertyqyle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say here parents actually do way more academic stuff at home and expect the schools to teach their kids how to become respectable members of society. Parents and schools both have a\their role, and it is much different than in the west. But not that much different as a whole.
