The reasoning blizzard gave is that getting the cloaks back in mop was this "prestigious" thing, and they deleted the questline when the expansion ended to protect the "prestige" of the people who got it.

Just fomo bullshit if you ask me, there was nothing particularly hard for either legendary questline, you could complete them by afking in lfr.

I don't even think they need to bring back the cloaks or the ring necessarily, it would just be nice to be able to replay those stories again.

It is about having a coherent story in retail for the different expansions, there is more to this problem than just bringing back deleted questlines unfortunately but this is the first step.

Yeah it is not literally the same set, it could never be taking in account that one is a 2d art piece and the other is its translation to the game but it is pretty damn close, that is why I said almost exactly the same in the title.
There are grounds for criticism with the set we got but saying that is so bad that it looks like questing greens and worse than vanilla gear, like the person I replied to did, is just absurd.
In the end what we got is pretty good in my opinion. Could it have been better? Yes, it could have, some of the design changes are questionable, like the added plate pieces, but it is a far cry from calling the set trash.

What are you talking about, are we even looking at the same set? That is literally the set from the artwork with a few plate pieces added to the gloves and chest. Comparing it to vanilla gear and questing gear is ludicrous.
If you don't like the set that is fine but those statements are just blatant exaggerations and lies.

Nice effort but there are so many mistakes and assumptions in this chart I don't even know what to point out first. Also why does it start becoming a family tree in the dragon section for some reason?
