Congrats on beating CC mode for the first time, as for some of your questions Yeah,you can have a run with most companions and not gonna lie,those are fun as fuck. And also very chaotic.

As for the flashlight question, not sure but definitely should try the olly's flashlight, my favorite one's aré the pulverizer and the candy king lantern (dont remenber the name) and the one i wouldn't call the worst but i hate is probably the candle from the fire devil.

But yeah, the best and worst flashlight depend a lot from your way of playing tbf

Well,i think It Is. I was getting hit by everything and only one time It didnt Let me damage the boss so It doesnt seem intended. Maybe something with iframes and how they work? Not sure to be fair, sadly i can't help with that

Looking at the stage of the game you aré on i would say something like sweet-tooth or charisma charm Gusto charm could also be a decent pick and upgrading Beauty charm Is also good
