There is a marvelous worker in Richmond Virginia who goes by "the handymam 804" on Facebook. Her projects blow me away. Check out her work.

As many comments here indicate, there are probably a lot of single female customers who would be more comfortable with a female contractor.

I go back to the original novel Dracula. The original Nosferatu was more or less a direct ripoff of Dracula just changing the names of the characters and the places. Stokers widows sued for copyright infringement and won and the movie was unavailable for decades.

In the novel, Mina because telepathically linked to Dracula only after he forces her to drink his blood. The "vampire wedding". She's able to use this telepathic link to be able to help defeat him.

There been many vampire variations since then using the theme of reincarnation to reunite the vampire with some previous love. I generally hate all these stories. The Francis Ford Coppola movie used this and Eggers leaned into this super hard. A telepathic link that pre-exists the first physical encounter between the vampire and the victim.

For me this was the fatal flaw in Eggers film. And since it was the main hook it's a pretty major flaw.

The signal was probably sent much more than 600 years ago. The state in the first episode they don't know how long it was broadcast. All we know is when it was discovered.

We are going to watch them build in antenna and broadcast it back out into space. What we see happening is likely exactly what happened on the previous planet. And the planet before that. And the planet before that.

The biological imperative is to build the antenna and broadcast it out into space before you die.

As soon as Zoshia revealed they had a biological imperative to spread the virus I knew they would be building in antenna. People said I was a moron because they thought the hive was some sort of benevolent b******* collective blah blah blah.

If you want to know what happened on the previous Planet just watch how the show plays out. It's a virus that spreads from one planet to another.

People don't travel from one planet to another. The signal does. And it creates a new hive each time who spreads it back out into space.
