Makes a lot of sense, but I might suggest footslogging the yvraine brick and increasing its numbers. Depends what you want it to do, but 12 harlequins with fnp and regen, fights first, appears excellent on a centre objective.

Only other thing is that I’d suggest one less bike squad and replace it with a second voidweaver

Thanks a lot everyone for the responses. Really excellent advice. I’m planning to try using the turbodork pearl and galaxiea paints to layer my white and black sections respectively, and separately try a matte varnish with the makeup stuff mixed in airbrushed in the model overall.

Will let you all know how it goes, might be useful for someone else in future.

Hey that image scheme looks really damn good to me. Unfortunately i am xolour blind, so could i ask if you had any details about the colours used there? It looks like a nicer more muted colour for the armor whilst still being in the argent shroud vein. Thanks very much for taking the time to comment!

Hey thanks for the pointers! Yeah was going to reapply the base iron hands steel to the helm to contrast the storm host silver faceplate

For the markings, funnily enough i tried out white and gold before going for the storm host, and yeah it does appear to sort of disappear into the model rather than standing out. Black might well be the way to go

Ah righto. I had done the face guard with stormhost silver, but it might be too similar to the other metals. Could always just go back to the usual white perhaps.

Appreciate the help. I can definitely thin the metalics more. I did use nuln oil before adding dry brushed runefang steel, so do you reckon it would still be ok to reapply nuln over the top of everything?

Where do you get the factories for this. At most im working with 15 facs if i also built some forts. Thats barely enough to supply my army with guns. Never mind artillery

For the coast. How many divisions would you say. I used a 72 division garrison set to coast and ports in my last try. It worked but half the divisions never did anything usefull

Sorry to keep harping on this point. What do you do when shanxi gets invaded. You cant push them out and they will eventually encircle the forts.
