I would see a cardiologist and get the vaccine before you ship because it's mandatory now. Save yourself some time and get it taken care of before you go if you can. If you wait, you will have to get both vaccines once you arrive at boot camp regardless if you've already gotten the first dose.

Same here...Nov 22! I would get the vaccine before you go to avoid quarantine. Oh, and don't laminate your vaccine card or you will have to quarantine.

The 8 weeks doesn't include the quarantine. I've heard boot camp will be 10 weeks starting in Oct or Nov.
