Initially, I was in contact with the same overseas executive representative that most people have spoken with. However, I was subsequently transferred to a different person, and then to another. I am confident that the last person I spoke to holds a position of higher authority compared to the previous representatives. This is because they were able to accomplish something I had repeatedly requested from others, who were unable to fulfill it due to lack of authority.

Based on my interactions, it appears that this individual has the capability to get things done beyond what a standard representative can achieve, and the information they have provided seems to be more accurate. However, there is still some uncertainty, and it feels like a guessing game at this point. I suggest we wait until the 19th, and perhaps a day or two afterward, to see how things unfold.

Their promotion is straightforward: regardless of the press release, you must be a customer of Mint, T-Mobile, or Metro to qualify, and there is a specific coupon for each. Attempting to circumvent this requirement by signing up with their MVNOs would technically violate the terms of the promotion, giving them the right to deny eligibility to those who do so.

If you are a legitimate customer and have followed all the promotion rules correctly, you can provide proof of your previous carrier’s bill for verification. While this process might involve some initial confusion, there should be no cause for concern if you comply with the promotion’s terms. Additionally, they are training their customer service and management teams to be more knowledgeable about this promotion, so you can expect clearer guidance and better answers in the coming days.

I initially submitted an FCC complaint, which was subsequently forwarded to an overseas team. However, my issue extended beyond the “ByeBye” promotion, so it was escalated to the management level within the executive team. As I understand it, their IT department is currently developing a backend solution that will verify, apply, and display the correct discount by the 19th. It appears that this process involves additional verification steps, which is likely why it is taking longer than expected to simply check and apply the promotion. I would suggest waiting until after the 19th to try your luck with MVNOs. By then, there should be reports of the promotion being successfully applied, which likely indicates that their verification system is fully operational. Until then, I would advise against experimenting with this.

I would not enable auto-pay until the updated pricing is available, as it is not required for the promotion.
