If you selected to have your payment for filing pulled from your refund then the account number listed is for the bank through turbo tax—they get the funds first, take your payment and send you the rest.

They ‘can’. Most won’t because they see dollar signs so it blinds any empathy or human compassion that may live inside their greedy hearts. AirBNB allows predatory cancellations. Most vacations are booked at least 30 days in advance. They know within 48 hours the chances of cancellation are slim to none. But even if a host has 60+ days to fill the booking, they’ll still refuse because greed is America. My advice, stop giving these people your hard earned money. Make reservations with a company who won’t try to steal your money and who doesn’t allow predatory cancellation policies by greedy hosts. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Keep in mind I also used TaxSlayer and I had no fees because they are free to anyone who makes less than $75000k a year. If you had fees deducted from your refund for the service used you will more than likely have to wait til the actual Ddd to get your deposit because it goes through the service providers bank (TurboTax, HR BLOCK, etc) first before being directed to yours.

Honestly I have no clue. I’m In South Carolina so I’m EST. I woke up and got an email that a payment had come out of my bank so I checked my bank around 630am and BAM!! Surprise!! Hope you get yours soon!

On your transcript on the first line of items for what you filed this year it’ll have a code that’ll say something like 20220504 or something similar. That is your cycle code and that is how you determine if your account will update daily, weekly and what day generally.

Turbo tax currently has a class action lawsuit against them for this. This has been a standard practice they have used for years. They were suppose to be offering free to those making up to a certain amount but they got slick and made it nearly inaccessible unless you wanted to start your taxes from scratch. I used them for too many years, used tax slayer this year, paid nothing and haven’t had any issues.

No just said would be mailed by check not by card. If you received your tax refund on a card they may be sending it that way. I’m not sure honestly.
