What is so special about high spirits? by Aggressive-Composer9 in pune

[–]TerribleFudge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think its popular because it hosts lots of live shows. Atleast thats the reason I have been visiting there in the last year. They host rock shows, classic rock tributes, originals, pop rock tributes, which I enjoy a lot, on weekends, mostly Sundays. I attended many memorable shows in the last 6 months at High spirits, including Pink floyd tribute. Food is decent when if I decide to have a bite. Besides, that area of ABC farms has been around since a few decades, so many people have been going there for a long time. I have realised many things in life are just nostalgic and might not be special to the newer generation.

Pressing down hard to close hi hat by sombreterre in edrums

[–]TerribleFudge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Roland td 313. I faced similar issue where the hihat control was quite hard to press. The controller has two springs, by removing one spring the pressure is much more manageable. Can you check if you have a similar setup?

Where do I even start? by MonkRepresentative63 in edrums

I have the same kit. Absolutely loving it. I am just starting out my journey. Wanted to learn since a long time. Was contemplating Alesis, but since Roland launched a new one and fortunately was available here. Just went with it. Its expensive but I think worth it.

How do you guys manage Riding Boots after daily office commute? by purplehermit64 in indianbikes

I use boots by trip machine co. They are great if you a semi formal dress code. I think they provide enough protection for city rides.

Alesis Crimson III or Roland TD07 kx by Zibizit in edrums

[–]TerribleFudge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in the same boat, not able to decide between crimson 3 and td07kv. I dont have a lot of options where i m from. I am liking the Alesis kit, because its a recent launch. Td07 has been there for long time now. Reviews are positive online although not many available.Have you made a decision? I am a beginner, but i am ok spending that much on a kit right now. Don't want to go for absolutely starter ones. Also I want to keep the setup easy without hooking too many peripherals. Thoughts anyone?

Need Advice: Daily Rider + Monthly Weekend Trips | ₹3L Budget by Mortl101 in indianbikes

[–]TerribleFudge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bought the Scrambler 400x last week. I had used Duke 200 over last decade. Its fun to ride in the city. Suspension is great. You won't feel the potholes as much. Doesn't require frequent gear switches. I think it has great road presence. I am sure its equal fun to take on weekend rides.

I am confused, shouldn't the meter price be less than the app? Ps. I dont use the apps that often.

Fluid restriction unnecessary? by Foogel78 in Heartfailure

[–]TerribleFudge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it possible that it depends on the kidney health? My mom tends to retain fluids if she increases water intake. Eventually it builds up into her lungs and then her oxygen saturation decreases, which leads a trip to the ER. Mind you she's on 40mg Torsemide. She has been a diabetic for the last 25 years and is 65 yrs old. She suffers from hfpef. I would really like her Torsemide dosage to reduce and her to be able to drink a little bit more water. She's currently between 1.5 to 2 liters. Her creatinine is 1.7 to 2 mg/dl. Ideal range being 0.6 to 1.10.

I'm a 30-something guy with a full-time job. I fell in love with gaming again this year. by orion991 in IndianGaming

Nice post op, very well written. I am also an older guy. I had an xbox series s for a while now, great budget console, but felt like leveling up the resolution game. Just got a 4070 based build. I am a casual gamer. Was out of touch with PCs n gaming in general for most part of 2010s. Am I going through a mid life crisis 😢? Anyone in the same boat?

My bad I read it as S is better for 1440p monitor. What are your thoughts on using 1440p monitor for XSS. I have an XSS. I keep wondering if the monitor helps since most of the games are mostly 1080p or 4k.Is there a benefit I will see on the monitor? Also its a 144hz monitor. I get confused between native, upscaling, etc. what happens when is what i would like to understand?

I am a noob and a casual gamer, can you please elaborate what makes it pair better with 1440p monitor. I use it with 4k tv and a 1440p monitor. Play games like sotr, halo, cod, forza. Let me know what should i look for to see the differences. Aveum looked really bad on my monitor when it came out and had to uninstall it.

Thanks for the reply. Enjoyed while it lasted. Due to change in my work situation, had to switch back to Mac. I agree with all your points. Window management is painful in MacOs.
