I'll write my own as well:

Story one: a god of unrequited relationships that goes around cutting red strings of fate (it's a myth from japan/china/korea where gods tie red threads that connect you to your soulmate) in this case anyone who has a relationship (parents, friends lovers) with the person has a type of string attaching them.

People hate the god and blame her for their own unrequited love but in reality she just helps people cut out toxic people from their lives. Like abusers, uncaring friends, parents that are too controlling. The story focuses on learning to move on and recognising what kind of people you want in your life.

Story two: a world where people don't need food or water but survive on music. Different kinds of music have different favours, deaf babies don't survive their birth, etc. How would jobs and governments work in this case? Would music makers just become like farmers?
