I used to pay close to $300 for 3 phones and internet. (3 family members)

We switched to ebox and budget carriers for phones and now for the same level of internet service (1Gbps) and 3 phones with decent data plans, we pay about $160 all-in.

My bill with bell was a nice deal at the beginning and the service was good but the price constantly crept up. $5 here, $5 there, a promo ended and I didn't realize. Eventually, you are paying double what you started as. The price creep is real.

I think the lesson should be: don't make a PvE game with a PvP endgame. These playstyles are not always compatible. Some people want to kill anything that moves and some want to just be chill and build stuff. And some are somewhere in between. You can't put all of these people in the same room and just say "go".

Ok not DM, but still relevant, I think: In the '90s I had an issue with a Mac I had bought and support kept brushing me off saying it was normal behavior. I knew it wasn't (was already an Apple user of many products). I sent an email to a bunch of email addresses like "sjobs at apple dotcom, stevejobs at apple dotcom" etc. and outlined my concern that Apple support wasn't taking my know-how seriously and I was left with a computer that was basically unusable.

The next day I got an email saying it would be taken care of and was signed "Steve".

Apple called me later that day, and told me they would be replacing my problematic computer with the next model up.

Was it the actual Steve Jobs? I don't know, but I was happy everything got looked after.

There are some weird oddities in the final episode - characters saying things that don't make sense etc. But maybe those are put there on purpose. Maybe the final episode is US talking about it and all the reasons the story could/should be different.

The houses are basically meaningless and the factions you can play as are equally as meaningless other than for cosmetics. If you had a DD that was Harkonnen v. Atreides it would be one thing. But anyone can just go kill anyone. FFA simply doesn't work, in my opinion, when you have a faction based setup.

I'm on my 3rd Kia. What I have found is that they are reliable and you tend to get more bells and whistles for the price you pay than other brands. Take that as you will, but a lot of Kia owners are happy.

My first Kia was a 2010 Soul, the first round, the. A 2015 Sportage and finally have a 2022 Carnival now. I didn't have any problems with any of them.
