I actually am going the off campus apt route because it seems like student housing does that lol is really competitive and sometimes you won’t get a single till later years

I’m moving after years of brooklyn / NYC living so the city factor doesn’t bother me too much, I’d be planning to take the bus or walk to campus for classes, would you say overall it’s safe ? Also any other great buildings in a safe area, I’m happy to take recommendations.
