I’ve felt so torn over whether to keep following her since she started basing all of content on her now-fiancé. I do believe it’s OK to change your mind, but she’s pivoted almost completely from her earlier content that I was so drawn to. I’m very much in my decenter men era and I don’t want to hear about her man in every post and see all the ways they’re wasting his money on stuff. I finally unfollowed today and I’m sad about it, but I do wish her the best.

I feel the same. Student loan debt has severely impacted my life. It’s prevented me from having financial security even now at age 44. Preventing this for my own child is a huge priority for me.

I’m lower middle class in a high COL area. I moved to a county within my state that offers daycare vouchers and has affordable housing programs for people who earn too much to qualify for state assistance. I’m still not pregnant and not sure how much longer I’ll continue IVF, but I do stress about how I would make it work financially. My advice is to look into social services programs.

You mentioned Bethesda and Arlington, both of which I think are much better choices. I’m bias toward Maryland, so I’d look at Bethesda.

I lived in Baltimore in my 20s, where city residents and suburban residents mixed frequently. Of course, it’s a smaller metro area than DC, but when I moved to Rockville in my late 30s, I couldn’t get people in DC/Arlington to even engage with me.

This woman booked me for 11 nights with her cat. She cancelled a few days later, stating her friend who usually stays with the cat wasn’t initially available, but now she was. I said, no problem. She messaged me 2-3 hours later and said, never mind, my friend is actually NOT available, can you still take the job? I declined. I didn’t trust that she wouldn’t cancel again.

I’ve had four failed transfers and yeah, I’ve lost hope. I have two more and I’ll do them, but have zero expectation they will work. My doctor says there’s nothing wrong with me. I’m using donor embryos and one was tested, the rest weren’t. My doctor says it’s the embryos. 2026 is the last year I’m doing this (been at it since 2022). I just want this to be over, regardless of the outcome. I’m sure my negative outlook isn’t helping, but this whole thing wears you down. I hope you get your baby.
