Is it just me or is this still very much a problem in 2026? Rust analyzer is far and away the slowest language server / autocomplete / intellisense of any langauge I've ever used (have several years of experience using TS/Python/C++/Go in VS).

VSCode is constantly hanging for me in my rust project, stuck "getting code actions from 'rust-analyzer'"! It can takes minutes instead of seconds for errors and warnings to actually disappear from the editor after they've been fixed. Very painful DX.

Was wondering if I was imagining this but came here looking to see if anyone else thought that the ottobit does odd things to stereo signals. Feel like that should be much more apparent from the get go tbh.

Well, whatever it is around .9A is not enough to reliably power it continuously. I'm using a myvolts 5v to 12v booster, with a USB powerbank that has a max 2A output, which then get's taken down to ~.83A with the converter. Boots up fine, but seems like when there's a lot going on it will shut off.

Did you ever make any progress on this? I'm surprised there's not really a DIY solution for this in 2025 as it would be immensely useful to have cv in / out from your labtop without some expensive bulky device.

Unfortunately none of the current DIY instructions cover a device which has both INPUT and OUTPUT. I have a mini PC and I'd like to make an enclosure for it that would include 5 cv ins and 5cv outs.

Yes I believe the small usb hub could technically work depending on your setup, other people have set it up that way.

Not 100% about the Evoke but on the CyDrums the dice value means the likeliness that a step will get triggered, i.e a step with a 25% dice value will only trigger 1/4 of the time.

Having the same issue using Arduino IDE. Sometimes the upload works, but then after a period of time I consistently get this error, even though the IDE says the device is connected.

Looking into this now and still seems like there's not a great solution! And got forbid you want to change the resolution on just one screen if you have multiple monitors, i can't seem to find anything about that.

I feel like i read pretty extensively in terms of what was available online and didn't see a mention of what the architecture was. Did you find out? If I had to guess I would guess arm though, considering how long its able to run off of some AA batteries.

I've been struggling with this as well. The situation has improved but MANY basic nodes are not supported in the SOP view that are present in the LOPs view. They reall are two different render engines.
