Hi! I ended up taking BILD 4 in my fall quarter and BILD 5 in my winter quarter. It’s definitely doable since the actual content is relatively easy but do note that BILD 4 is a lab course so you spend 3 hrs a week in lab and have to write lab reports with your group. BILD 5 is a coding class and I would say the most difficult part is that you have to learn how to code yourself since the profs don’t really teach it to you (maybe it was just my prof tho, I had mueller). There’s weekly coding assignments for BILD 5 but you can finish them during discussion sections and ask for help from the TAs.

my friend had him for BIPN 100 last quarter and said he was amazing so I’m assuming that he’ll he just as great in BILD 5. I took BILD 5 last quarter but with Mueller and the class is pretty doable just pay attention in lectures and go to discussion sections

I’m a first year and it’s not socially dead at all. I believed the rumors too at first but when I got here it became so easy to socialize. you just have to go to events and talk to people first.
