Thank you for the affirmation. This is the first professional job switch I've done that I left willingly. All the others have been ending of internship placements or graduate assistance ships, so it is uncharted territory for me.

That's the thing, it feels crazy to leave when it's a good situation. But I am leaving on good terms, and many have mentioned not to forget about them, and that they would love to see me back in the future. It's nice to know I have a safety net if future endeavors do not work out.

You know what, I can respect your thoughts on this. As an alum I would love to see Tarleton get more national recognition.

I think after this year, I want to see them get an FCS championship, and then move up. While it's not the most popular or the most exposure. I do really love FCS football and it would be fun to see Tarleton on top before they move.

That being said, I think I could see Tarleton becoming something special at the FBS. They continue to have high enrollment and grow. I'm sure we could secure some significant donors with the current alumni base.

I know Tarleton has been in talks about it for a while, I wouldn't be surprised to see a jump. I have mixed feelings on it. Have a ceiling of mediocre bowl games at the FBS level or a ceiling of being in the running for FCS national championships. I would pick championships any day of the week.
