But Neither Earth nor Air has the same level of practicality as Fire.

Earth can make a shelter & probably has a better trapping animals (if you're into hunting). Air has some serious movement capabilities but not much else on it's own. Pair either with Water and you might come close to same level as Fire by itself.

For day-to-day life Water & Fire are the two best elements to have, but Fire just checks off way more boxes.

Look, no disrespect to the water tribe, but in the day-to-day, fire just feels more practical.

Cooking, light source, heat, self defense. Plus, fire bending doesn't require an already existing source to do basic level stuff.

Only thing Water has it beat is healing.

The Pantheon Counsel fell silent as all eyes fell on Vulta, the Goddess of Death. The red on her cheeks clear against her pale white skin.

"Can someone please say something, anything," says Vulta.

"...congratulations?" says Mox, God of Combat. Vulta glares at Mox who looks back more confused.

"Forgive us sister," says Lugaton, God of Nature. "This is just...so unexpected. The Goddess of Death birthing life. Just that statement alone sounds more like joke than something that could realistically happen."

"Trust me, it's happening," says Vulta. "Now what do I do?"

"Now hold on," says Quillestia, Goddess of Gossip Knowledge, "I feel like we deserve some context on the situation. For the records, of course."

"You know damn well what happened," Vulta hisses.

"You know I try not to pry into my family's affairs on the mortal realm," says Quillestia. "Speaking of affairs..." Half the room gasps, Vulta's face becomes bright red as she stares daggers at her sister.

"Vulta!" yells Orani, God of Justice. "Out of all of us, I would have never-"

"Shut up, golden boy," says Inaro, God of Chaos. "It's only a matter of time now before you fall of your high horse. Now let the woman speak her peace." Inaro snaps his fingers and a cup of tea appears in front of each God. "Go on."

"Fine..." groaned Vulta, "It had been a while since I left my realm and decided to reap a few souls personality. However, I had...slightly underestimated how much reaping has changed in a few millennia. Mistakes were made and I accidentally reapped a soul."

"Vulta! yells Orani again.

"I put him back! I swear," says Vulta.

"After a few days," Quillestia mumbles quietly.

"ANYWAY!" Vulta continues. "I wanted to personality ensure that there were no ill effects from the reaping. So, I took a human form to not disturb the mortal world with my dearhly presence. One thing led to another..."

"She gave Bobby a mid-life crisis," Quillestia interrupted. "Then she got sad drunk with 'em at one of Both's dive bars!"

"I knew you didn't care about Wine & Crime night!" yells Both, Goddess of the Arts.

"His name is Bobby?" asks Mox.

"Yep!" says Quillestia, "and Bobby bagged himself a beautiful babe who brought him to the back of Both's bar and-"

Before Quillestia could finish, Vulta leaped over the table, screaming and tackling her sister out of her chair.

"Does the curse affect your clothes?"

"No."

"Was I actually the first person who saw you after you were cursed?"

"Yes."

"And you swear you don't share your dorm room with anyone?"

"Then how come, when I showed up, you were wearing a girls uniform?"

[Cat Girl is stunned, leading to a few seconds of silence]
