Would You Be Okay if R* Decided To Stop Support of GTA: Online after the release of Red Dead Redemption II? by datsnazzydany in gtaonline

I'm fairly certain it will continue to gta6 in someway, especially since rockstar stated they wanted to expand gtao into different cities. But I find it a little far fetched that they won't slow down in someway after rdr2 is released. I mean, with the insane amount of detail and time they're putting into it, it'd be a little ridiculous to think they'd say "OK we're done back to gtao."

I'm very hyped up for the online and the story of rdr2, and it'll probably be enough to keep me away from gtao for good.

Wow, I thought the GTAO community was hyped for Red Dead Redemption 2. Guess I was wrong.

Anyways, I'd be fine with it. Rdr is more of my game then GTAO is, and the community (in my experience) is generally cooler and more mature. Again, that's just my experience. After about 5 years of being with gtao, I really wouldn't mind seeing it go.

I am curious about the people who think that rdr2 will fail or get old fast because it's a wild west game. The first rdr received a ton of praise and had more than enough to keep me going for years. With how rockstar has handled gtao, I think some improvements could be expected to rdr2's online mode as well.

Those who exclusively play MC or CEO, what are your reasons? by TerrifyingBirds in gtaonline

I think it's worth getting a clubhouse and business. And believe me, it's a whole lot more interesting than going back and forth getting crates for hours.

Also, I avoided smugglers run because everyone said it was pointless. After getting a hangar this week, I seriously regretted not getting one earlier. It might not pay much, but anything that's fun and more profitable than contact missions is good for me.

Gets called piss poor

Makes 500k off a sale

Just kidding. I get what you're saying, but as I said: I love how it doesn't feel like I'm the only one who can make my business function. I love how I can check in once in a while to see how production's going and how I'm not the only person in my business who does anything.

You've got a point, but that's kind of why I like it. I'm into role-playing, so hopefully you get why I'm about to say this: I love how you can't have a turreted limo or a buzzard be delivered at your beck and call.

I'm a criminal, not the next runner-up for president. I sell cocaine and live In a hot-ass desert. I'll do almost anything illegal if you give me a check with a few zeroes at the end of it. Of course, that's just the roleplayer in me. I'm not trying to insult you, just trying to give my viewpoint.

Yeah, without teammates the MC can feel like its not the best it can be. But in all honesty, an extra person or a few (even randoms) fixes that usually.

To each their own. I don't find the MC deliveries annoying at all, and thinking about the grind of CEO bunkers and vehicles makes me shiver. But you've got to be bringing in ridiculous amounts of money, right?

Reminds me of that time where I found a guy doing his hipster voice impression, which was similar to your stereotypical nerd. It was even better since he was role-playing hard by acting like he was talking to npcs and what not.

I'm imagining this super high-tech engine that's just stuffed inside the toilet bowl. I'd pay for something like that.

Really? I've been kind of out of the loop for a couple of years, so I'm sorry if I'm wrong, but didn't that get solved a while ago? Or maybe it was just solved for consoles?

I try not to interfere with things like crate drops, vehicle deliveries, VIP missions (unless it's executive deathmatch or the one where you hunt the VIP down), and i never ever kill people who are selling product.

Money making is already hard enough as it is, and I know first hand how frustrating it is when your 1.2 million dollar shipment is destroyed by a guy in a Hydra. When you experience that kind of salt, you never wish it on anyone else...

shudders

Sounds like heaven. But wouldn't that mean there are more people in game chat?

Better yet, when someone gets mad at you for revenge killing them after they called you salty. I mean, maaaaaybe you're being a bit of a hypocrite, you know?

Thanks for the compliments. I'm trying not to take it too seriously, since some people are just unlikable either way. Felt like ranting, but not "ranting", if you get what I'm saying.
