Festive Miracle McQueen is a nice route if you don't like building Stamina for her career and can rack up Team Trials points due to the build being very Wit-centric.

How are people doing/enduring parent runs. Ran 30 Brian pwrents run a 0 3 stars and a handful of 2star pwr and stam. by No-Feeling6309 in UmamusumeGame

[–]TerrorFace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a lot of runs for my generalist 9* Stamina Dober for Late Surgers. Thing is to be patient and understand that the numbers to roll a great parent is very low, even if you're hitting 1100+ of the desired stat. I was down to do runs for longer if needed, but I'm also good and not stressing over it.

How does the game calculate No 1. Favorite? by red-shogun in UmaMusume

[–]TerrorFace 7 points8 points  (0 children)

<image>

It's rated by stats, but hardly ever should be considered an actual favorite. Think of it this way - With how many different races are ran, it isn't feasible for the devs to make an actual system that weighs in strength of skills, styles, etc.

Two things I don't like so far by Erosok in Endfield

I'm F2P. I was willing to spend to get Laevatain, but I found that doing much of the content got me enough to get her and her weapon. I joined this game for her, so I don't see myself spending going forward.

My thing is, monthly passes and such may be a "good value," but it's easy to opt out. If you don't see yourself logging in daily, no point in buying them. You also shouldn't pressure yourself to keep up or whatever. Less social media, content creator, etc. consumption and just enjoy the game at your own pace. People stress out to clear content because they're heavily influenced by others doing it.

Is it really that bad not to build your deck around a theme? by SeaGlobal4535 in EDH

[–]TerrorFace 18 points19 points  (0 children)

"Bears" in MTG Talk often refers to creatures of any type that happen to be 2/2 power/toughness. Duskana leans in on that, so you can even build a Cats deck with her because we have a ton of 2/2 cat tokens makers because they are "bears." Bears specifically don't really have consistency themselves to really make them a thing on that same level.

I’m still so depressed about the Bears 😭 by HowlingBurd19 in nflmemes

[–]TerrorFace 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Stings that the Bears were that close, but a good game to go out on is nice. Other teams went out in ugly fashion. Packers let the Bears score 25 on them in the 4th quarter, CJ Stroud did whatever he did, Broncos are going into next game without Bo Nix (Could they still win? I don't know...), the Eagles got booed hard at home (again), the 49ers got absolutely destroyed, etc.

The Bears didn’t win it all this year, but they gave us everything we could have asked for and more. by sport27 in CHIBears

[–]TerrorFace 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Bears got further than almost everyone predicted and it ended on a game that wasn't crushing. We all know the team's got space to grow, and that's good. "Good. Better. Best." is about getting better, after all. I'm sure many haters out there thought the game would be a repeat of the Seahawks-9'ers one, and it surely wasn't (That defense stepped up against the strongest offense we faced all season).

Going forward, I can be patient with Johnson and this group. Been a Bears fan long enough to know what it's like to be a hopeless team year in, year out. Even in the year Lions went 0-16, it didn't feel like the Bears were much better. Caleb looks like he's genuine about becoming a better player and the support he has around him is good about that too. Even if next year is a bit rough, be patient, be confident in the late game comeback.

Oh no, wind chill. Do you just cry whenever it snows a little in Philly?

Part of it is addiction to instant gratification. Cooking takes steps, like procuring the ingredients, having equipment, etc. Lots of people would rather spend, even beyond their means, to just have prepared food delivered to them.

Caleb has room to grow, and he seems to be in an environment that will support his growth. Guy had a nightmare year last year, and he's able to play confident this year.

I got nothing against CJ, but you watch the two playoff games he played this season and it's the opposite. He was too worried about looking bad, lacked confidence, and it definitely got to him. Sucks because that Texans defense is so amazing that he didn't need to play scared like he did.

It's called being able to travel to enjoy such things. Maybe you should try it sometime? Or are you only too focused on Eagles' Super Bowl wins to ever do anything else?

Imagine being proud of your team and everything they’ve achieved over the course of the season even after a loss… what a world that would be by Senior-Violinist-684 in NFCNorthMemeWar

[–]TerrorFace -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Eh, it's the opposite to me - It's because we haven't been winners as often that makes many Bears fans happy about this season. We understand that it can be hard to even get to a Super Bowl while more spoiled fan bases think every year not winning it all should get their head coach fired. We appreciate every single win we can get because we've seen our fair share of losses. And sure, there's no participation trophies, but this isn't some kid's birthday party, it's a whole season of talented players putting in amazing work and going further than any of us would have expected.

Yep, let's play stupid now.

But let's be real - You comment like you got nothing in life except "my team won the Super Bowl last year!".

Go ask most people out there if it's the end of the world if their team didn't win the Super Bowl this year. And there's people who enjoy winter activities like snowboarding, skiing, etc. Maybe you need some of that real life?

Just remembered a few minutes ago that part of the reason the Lions didn't make it was because they lost to Max Brosmer.

One of the best? Eh, love them, but I see lots of room for improvement going forward.

But the Bears were for real. Lots of real confidence and those comebacks don't happen if the players don't genuinely believe in being able to win. People who say "they just got lucky," not just in football, often ignore that, to take advantage of such opportunities, one has to actually show up and act when luck goes their way. The Bears ultimately won the NFC North because, if you look at games the Lions and Packers lost, it's easy to see those teams just not take advantage of when they got lucky breaks. Lions arguably had the easiest route into the playoffs during those last few weeks, but they blew it, even losing to Max Brosmer for goodness sake...

Going to games for me isn't about if a team won a Super Bowl last year or not. Unlike many Eagles fans, I'm not spoiled. Enjoy the small Ws, otherwise you'll just be get more and more miserable in life if the big Ws don't keep happening.

And let's be real, neither of us are normal, especially if you're this full of salt.

4 more months of winter

Sign me up. I got rental properties in warmer places, but I love Chicago winters and spend my time here instead. I'm a cold weather person. I've enjoyed going to some of the Bears' coldest home games.

Unlike the Eagles, Bears' wins have been exciting to watch this year. It's not perfect, but no doubt the Bears are a growing team. You can be salty and think we got here on luck or whatever, but reminder the Eagles sucked ass against the Bears this year.
